Central Nervous System Hemangioblastoma
**Semantic type:** Neoplastic Process
**Definition:** A rare, highly vascular, WHO grade I tumor that arises from the central nervous system and is composed of abundant capillaries and stromal cells. It can occur sporadically or as part of von Hippel-Lindau syndrome. It is a slow growing tumor with a low risk of metastasis, despite its benign histological features.
