Mediastinal Mature Teratoma

**Definition:** An extragonadal mature teratoma that arises from the mediastinum. It is usually encapsulated and characterized by the presence of unilocular or multilocular cysts. The cysts can contain clear fluid, mucoid material, sebaceous debris, fat, hair, cartilage, and rarely teeth or bone.
