Darglitazone

**Definition:** An agent belonging to the glitazone class of antidiabetic agents with antihyperglycemic and anti-inflammatory activities. Darglitazone may be able to abrogate acute cerebral inflammatory responses via its suppression of proinflammatory gene expression.
