Hanford Pig

**Definition:** The largest of the miniature breeds, it reaches 25-40kg at sexual maturity. The Hanford pig is white with an elongated snout and has the largest heart and blood vessels of all pig breeds. It is used in biomedical research, among other things, in the testing of implantable devices in human cardiovascular research.
