**Definition:** An uncommon, indolent B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma composed of small B-lymphocytes involving the red pulp of the spleen, bone marrow, and peripheral blood. Patients often have massive splenomegaly. The peripheral blood examination reveals villous lymphocytes.
