**Definition:** Human MLLT10 wild-type allele is located in the vicinity of 10p12 and is approximately 209 kb in length. This allele, which encodes protein AF-10, may play a role in the regulation of transcription. Acute leukemias are associated with a translocation t(10;11)(p12;q23) involving this gene and the MLL gene. Diffuse histiocytic lymphomas are associated with a translocation, t(10;11)(p13;q14), involving this gene and the PICALM gene.
