Brotizolam
**Semantic type:** Pharmacologic Substance
**Definition:** A triazolo-benzodiazepine derivative with sedative, hypnotic, anxiolytic and anticonvulsant activities. Brotizolam binds to the benzodiazepine binding site on the gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA)-A receptor in the central nervous system (CNS).
