Solanezumab

**Definition:** A humanized monoclonal antibody (IgG1) raised against amyloid beta peptides with Alzheimer disease treatment application. Solanezumab recognizes and binds the middle amino acid residues 16-24 of the amyloid beta peptide and may be used in a passive immunotherapy treatment.
