**Definition:** A clinical finding about one or more characteristics of major salivary gland cancer, following the rules of the TNM AJCC v7 classification system. The assessment of primary salivary gland tumors includes a pertinent history, (pain, trismus, etc.), inspection, palpation, and evaluation of the cranial nerves.
