**Definition:** A finding about one or more characteristics of distal bile duct cancer, following the rules of the TNM AJCC v7 classification system. This TNM classification applies only to cancers arising in the extrahepatic bile ducts above the ampulla of Vater. Sarcomas and carcinoid tumors are not included. (from AJCC 7th Ed.)
