**Definition:** A FIGO stage term that applies to gynecologic cancers. For cervical cancer, it refers to cancer that extends to the pelvic wall, and/or causes hydronephrosis or non-functioning kidney; for endometrial cancer, it refers to cancer with vaginal or parametrial involvement.
