DDX10 wt Allele

**Definition:** Human DDX10 wild-type allele is located within 11q22-q23 and is approximately 276 kb in length. This allele, which encodes probable ATP-dependent RNA helicase DDX10 protein, is involved in the modulation of both ATP hydrolysis and RNA metabolism. A chromosomal inversion inv(11)(p15q22) which fuses this gene and the NUP98 gene is associated with myeloid malignancies.
