NUP98/PHF23 Fusion Gene

**Definition:** A fusion gene (~2.4 kb) that results from a chromosomal translocation t(11;17)(p15;p13) which fuses exon 13 of the NUP98 gene with exon 4 of the PHF23 gene. This fusion was associated with one case of therapy related acute myeloid leukemia.
