Mildly Abnormal Ejection Fraction

**Definition:** Slightly less than normal amount of blood that is forced from the heart ventricle to produce cardiac output. Quantitatively, the ejection fraction is considered between 41% to 49%.

**Synonyms:** - MILD DYSFUNCTION - Mildly reduced (i.e., greater than or equal to 40% and less than 50%)
