The NOC 2 group covers professionals in natural and applied sciences such as biologists, chemists, physicists, environmental scientists and related occupations like laboratory technologists and research assistants. These workers generate, analyse and apply scientific knowledge, conduct experiments, develop technologies and provide technical advice to support industry, government and academia.
