The 312 Forestry code designates aid directed toward activities that manage, conserve, and restore forest resources, including sustainable forest management, reforestation, afforestation, timber production, and related research and capacity-building efforts. It groups projects that aim to protect biodiversity, improve livelihoods, and mitigate climate change through the stewardship of forest ecosystems.
