Radioactive Decay and In-beam Spectroscopy

PACS 23 groups research on the mechanisms and products of radioactive decay together with the use of in-beam spectroscopy to probe nuclear structure. It encompasses experimental studies of beta, alpha, gamma, and other decay modes, as well as techniques that employ fast radioactive beams to measure energy levels, lifetimes, and reaction-product distributions in nuclei.
