Electronic Structure of Atoms and Molecules

Code 31 in the PACS 2010 scheme addresses theoretical and computational studies of the electronic structure of atoms and molecules, including methods such as Hartree-Fock, density-functional theory and configuration interaction. It also encompasses spectroscopic properties, electron correlation effects and related quantum-chemical calculations.
