PACS 98 covers the structure, dynamics, and evolution of stellar systems, ranging from individual stars and star clusters to whole galaxies and their larger-scale environments. It includes the physical processes governing galactic formation, interstellar matter, and extragalactic phenomena such as active galactic nuclei, quasars, and large-scale cosmic structures.
