**Glossary:** - Auxiliary devices: Devices which perform an operation other than the mere simple transmission of energy. - Waveguide type: As applied to transmission lines, this term includes only high-frequency coaxial cables or Lecher lines, and as applied to resonators, delay lines, or other devices, this term includes all devices having distributed inductance and capacitance.
