Manufacture of Wearing Apparel

Code 14 in the PRODCOM EU Industrial Production Survey covers firms that produce clothing and other wearable items, ranging from fabrics and garments to accessories such as hats, gloves and socks. It includes the manufacturing processes of cutting, sewing, knitting, dyeing and finishing, but excludes the production of footwear and textile chemicals.
