Manufacture of Coke and Refined Petroleum Products

Code 19 in the PRODCOM EU Industrial Production Survey covers establishments that produce coke for industrial use and all refined petroleum products such as gasoline, diesel, kerosene, fuel oil, lubricants and petrochemical feedstocks, using processes that convert crude oil or other feedstocks into these finished fuels and specialty oils. The classification excludes primary extraction of crude oil and the manufacturing of petrochemical polymers that are not directly sold as fuels.
