CYG - Cytogenetics

Cytogenetics, coded CYG, is a CAP accreditation module that evaluates a laboratory's capability to analyze chromosomes and related genetic material for diagnostic and research purposes. The program reviews procedures for karyotyping, fluorescence in situ hybridization and other chromosome-based tests to ensure accuracy, quality control and compliance with regulatory standards.
