CPPA Audit Authority

The CPPA Audit Authority grants the California Attorney General, or a designated enforcement agency, the power to conduct audits, investigations and inspections of businesses to verify compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 and the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020, including the ability to compel disclosure of records and impose corrective measures.
