Right to Delete (1798.105)

The right to delete, codified at California Civil Code §1798.105, permits a consumer to request that a business erase personal information it holds about them, with the business required to comply within 45 days unless an exception applies, such as for data needed to complete a transaction, comply with a legal obligation, or protect against fraud.
