Accidental Release Prevention (Sec 112(r))

Under the Clean Air Act, Section 112(r) requires facilities that use or store listed hazardous substances to develop and implement an accidental-release prevention plan, which includes risk-management measures, safety procedures, employee training and regular inspections to minimize releases that could endanger public health or the environment.
