Sec 201 - Purpose of Construction Grants

Section 201 of the Clean Water Act establishes the purpose of construction grants, authorizing federal funding to help states, municipalities and other eligible entities build or upgrade wastewater treatment works and related infrastructure, thereby reducing water pollution, protecting public health and preserving the quality of the nation's waters.
