Principle 8 - Assesses Fraud Risk

Principle 8 requires organizations to assess the risk of fraud by identifying potential fraud scenarios, evaluating their likelihood and impact, and considering the incentives, pressures, and opportunities that may exist. It directs management to incorporate fraud-risk assessments into the overall risk-assessment process and to design controls that mitigate identified fraud risks.
