Data portability (Art 6(9))

Under the Digital Markets Act, Article 6(9) obliges designated platforms to provide users with a right of data portability, allowing personal data to be supplied in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. This enables individuals to transfer their data to another service, promoting competition and consumer choice.
