Gatekeeper Designation Criteria (Art 3)

The Digital Markets Act sets out the conditions under which a platform is formally designated as a "gatekeeper." Article 3 lists quantitative thresholds such as an annual turnover of at least €6.5 billion in the EU or a market value of €65 billion, together with qualitative criteria including a core platform service and a significant, entrenched impact on the internal market.
