Market Investigation (Art 16-17)

The Digital Markets Act (EU) 2022/1925 authorizes the European Commission to conduct market investigations under Articles 16 and 17 to assess whether gatekeepers are harming competition. Such investigations examine the structural and functional characteristics of core platform services, identify unfair practices and can lead to remedial measures.
