Part 736 - General Prohibitions

Part 736 of the Export Administration Regulations sets out the general prohibitions that apply to the export, reexport, transfer, or temporary import of items subject to the EAR. It defines activities that are prohibited without a license, such as providing controlled items to prohibited end-users, destinations, or for prohibited end-uses, and specifies the circumstances that trigger the need for an authorization.
