Principle 4 - Environmental and Social Management System and Action Plan

Principle 4 requires borrowers to establish and maintain an Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS) and an Action Plan that identify, assess, and mitigate environmental and social risks associated with a project. The ESMS must include clear responsibilities, monitoring, reporting procedures, and corrective actions to ensure compliance with the Equator Principles throughout the project's lifecycle.
