Art 10 - Data and data governance

Article 10 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 sets out requirements for data and data governance in AI, mandating that providers ensure data quality, relevance, representativeness and traceability throughout the system life-cycle. It obliges operators to document data sources, preprocessing steps and any bias mitigation measures, and to maintain up-to-date datasets for monitoring and compliance.
