Art 99 - Penalties

Article 99 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 sets out the penalties for breaches of the AI rules, requiring Member States to impose effective, proportionate and dissuasive fines. It also allows for other corrective measures such as suspension of activities, withdrawal of products from the market, or remedial actions to ensure compliance.
