Title II - Prohibited AI Practices

Title II of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 defines AI systems and uses that are banned throughout the Union, including real-time biometric identification in public spaces, AI-driven manipulation of human behaviour, and systems that cause physical or psychological harm, with limited exceptions for law-enforcement or public-interest purposes under strict safeguards.
