Eco-Modulated Fees

The eco_modulation entry sets fees that vary with a producer's environmental performance, rewarding lower waste generation and higher recyclability of packaging. Under Regulation (EU) 2025/40, fees are reduced for companies that meet stricter targets and increased for those that fall short, creating a financial incentive to improve packaging design and waste management.
