Conditions for Public Disclosure Protection (Art 15)

Article 15 of the EU Whistleblowing Directive sets out the conditions under which a person who makes a public disclosure is eligible for protection, requiring that the disclosure be made in good faith, that the information concerns a breach of Union law, and that the reporter has exhausted internal reporting routes or that those routes are unavailable or ineffective.
