Part 3 - Improper Business Practices and Personal Conflicts of Interest

Part 3 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation sets standards to prevent improper business practices and personal conflicts of interest in government contracting. It defines prohibited conduct such as fraud, bribery, kickbacks and self-dealing, outlines reporting requirements, and prescribes penalties and corrective actions to protect the integrity of the procurement process.
