R.37 Mutual legal assistance

R.37 sets out the FATF expectation that jurisdictions provide effective mutual legal assistance to one another in money-laundering and terrorist-financing investigations, including the ability to request and obtain evidence, share information, and execute investigative measures such as freezing assets or conducting searches, while respecting due-process safeguards.
