R.8 Non-profit organisations

R.8 directs FATF members to assess and mitigate the money-laundering and terrorist-financing risks posed by non-profit organisations, emphasizing transparency of donors, beneficiaries and governance structures. It requires robust customer-due-diligence, record-keeping, internal controls and, where appropriate, reporting of suspicious activity to authorities.
