Sec 605B - Block of Information from Identity Theft

Section 605B of the Fair Credit Reporting Act requires credit reporting agencies to block the reporting of information that results from identity theft. Upon receiving a valid identity-theft report, agencies must place a block on the fraudulent data, preventing it from appearing in a consumer's credit file.
