Sec 612 - Charges for Disclosures

Section 612 of the Fair Credit Reporting Act sets the rules for fees that consumer reporting agencies may charge when they disclose credit reports or related information. It allows reasonable, disclosed charges but bars excessive, discriminatory, or hidden fees, ensuring consumers know the cost of any requested disclosure.
