Identification and Authentication (IA)

In FedRAMP, the IA (Identification and Authentication) family defines controls that require each user to be uniquely identified and verified before accessing a system, covering account management, password standards, multi-factor authentication, and related mechanisms to ensure only authorized individuals can use resources.
