Personnel Security (PS)

The PS family in the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program groups controls that address personnel security, including background investigations, screening, access-related training, and ongoing monitoring of individuals who handle federal information and systems. It ensures that employees, contractors and other users are trustworthy and that any changes in their risk status are promptly identified and mitigated.
