Sec 303 - Nondiscrimination for Insurance Sales
Section 303 of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act bars insurance companies from refusing to sell, underwriting, or offering less favorable terms to a consumer because the consumer has exercised privacy protections, such as opting out of the sharing of personal financial information. The rule ensures that privacy choices do not affect eligibility, pricing, or coverage conditions.
