Sec 522 - Prohibitions on Obtaining Customer Information by False Pretenses
Section 522 of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act makes it illegal for any person to obtain a consumer's financial information by using false or misleading statements, deceptive practices, or fraudulent means, and authorizes civil penalties for violations.
