Annex 1 - Personnel Licensing

Annex 1 sets the international standards and recommended practices for the licensing of aircrew, including pilots, flight engineers and other personnel, covering qualifications, training, medical fitness, issuance, renewal and privileges. It provides a uniform framework for member states to certify and maintain competence, thereby promoting safety and interoperability in civil aviation worldwide.
