Annex 4 - Aeronautical Charts

Annex 4 of the ICAO Convention on International Civil Aviation establishes standards and recommended practices for the design, production, and use of aeronautical charts, ensuring they provide consistent, accurate geographic and navigational information worldwide. It defines chart symbols, scales, and content requirements for topographic, aerodrome, and en-route charts to support safe flight operations. This annex is periodically updated to incorporate new technologies and procedures.
