P029 - Protocol to the Forced Labour Convention

The Protocol to the Forced Labour Convention (P029) supplements ILO Convention No. 29, aiming to strengthen measures for the suppression and elimination of forced labour. Adopted in 2014, it obliges ratifying states to adopt effective policies, provide victim assistance, and enhance international cooperation. The protocol reinforces the core principle of freedom from forced labour within the ILO's Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work
